A body of a man was found at about 8 a.m. this morning in the grass on the southeast corner of the intersection of Fee lane and Highway 46, said Lt. Craig Munroe of the IU Police Deparement.
Because of the unknown cause of death, IUPD began treating the incident as a crime scene.
"Initially there doesn't appear to be any sign of foul play, but we're not ruling anything out at this time" Munroe said.
IUPD is awaiting toxicology reports and cause of death from the Monroe County Coroner's office.
