The 36th annual Taste of Bloomington will take place this weekend. The Bloomington Community Farmer's Market will close at noon to accommodate the event Saturday, June 23.
Taste of Bloomington is an annual celebration of Bloomington’s variety of dining experiences, according to the visitbloomington website.
More than 40 restaurants will be on site with food for attendees to sample. Local beer and wine products will also be available for purchase. Food products will range from international cuisine to down-home Hoosier favorites, according to the website.
Taste of Bloomington will also feature live performances from both local and regional artists, as well as activities for children.
The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Showers Common at 401 N. Morton Street in downtown Bloomington. Tickets are $7 in advance and $8 at the gate.
