POSTED AT 11/7/2009 9:54:45 AM

POSTED AT 11/7/2009 9:50:47 AM

Interesting Info on some Organic Food

POSTED AT 11/7/2009 9:10:22 AM

I’ve never been the biggest purveyor of organic food, mainly because I pay all my own expenses dollar to dollar, so I can’t always justify the higher prices for myself,  particularly the Odwalla 4 dollar little drinks (which this shows as being owned by coke anyway) that never tasted [...]

POSTED AT 11/7/2009 2:36:23 AM

Earlier this week, I wrote to advocate the placement of artistic stone work on the New Housing 2010, also known as the replacement Ashton. In that column, I talked about the multitude of stonework exhibited on this campus, and the tradition it represents. I wanted to point out a great photo gallery [...]

POSTED AT 11/6/2009 6:42:06 PM

Once again with IU facing a ranked opponent, it’s a little bit easier to find media outlets predicting the score of Saturday’s game. Here’s what they had to say. Wisconsin 28, IU 16 – ESPN.com’s Adam Rittenberg: “ I don’t know how much the Hoosiers have left [...]

POSTED AT 11/6/2009 6:01:50 PM

On a day full of pomp and circumstance, the IU men’s soccer team was able to resuscitate its season with a 2-1 upset of Big Ten-leading No. 25 Penn State Friday. After falling behind 1-0 midway through the first half, senior forward Lee Hagedorn was able to punch in the game-tying goal off an [...]

POSTED AT 11/6/2009 5:38:14 PM

If we’re in the midst of an economic crisis caused largely by artificially inflated home values, our Congress thinks the solution is to continue artificially inflating home values. They just extended (again) a tax credit that pays people $8,000 to buy a house. You even get $6,500 if you [...]
