Freshman center Bawa Muniru has been cleared to play for the 2009-10 season.
IU coach Tom Crean released the news via Twitter.
"Moments ago we just learned that Bawa is completely eligible," he wrote. "If you see his smile as wide as it has ever been you will know why."
