Charlene and Robert Spierer, the parents of missing IU student Lauren Spierer, have requested a press conference to deliver a statement to the press. The press conference will be held at 11 a.m. at the Bloomington Police Department to discuss the ongoing search for Lauren, their missing daughter, who disappeared the morning of June 3. “The exact details of their statement have not been finalized at the time of this news release,” a press release from the police stated. Neither the parents nor police officers are expected to take questions at the conference. There have been no news conferences since Friday, June 24.
