For Larry Flynt, asking women to bare it all is an everyday occurrence.
Now the Hustler magazine publisher’s focus has turned to Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

While the pornographic king pin has not asked Romney to pose for a centerfold spread, he has offered a $1 million reward for information about the candidate’s financial records.

In the defamation process, it seems Flynt is more concerned with feeding his horndog subscribers than informing the American voting public.

The biggest benefactor of these efforts is Hustler’s publicity.

Flynt has published full-page ads in the Washington Post and USA Today asking, “What is he hiding?”

Similar advertisements ran in newspapers in Switzerland, Bermuda and the Cayman Islands, all of which are known as safe havens for tax evaders worldwide.

As far as the reward that could be awarded in $1 bills, the ads promise up to $1 million for “information about Mitt Romney’s unreleased tax returns and/or details of his offshore assets, bank accounts and business partnerships”.

Larry Flynt is not accustomed to working with people who hide assets, and he has the feeling much of America shares the same sentiment.

The 69-year-old publisher has led multiple smearing campaigns against Republican politicians in years past, but this is Flynt’s first attack on financial foolery.

Hustler magazine and Flynt offered million dollar rewards for information of the infidelity of Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Sen. David Vitter, R-La., and the GOP congressmen that led the impeachment trial against former Presidential Bill Clinton.

Why the change of heart?

Flynt seems less than impressed by Romney’s sexual prowess.

“He’s like an over-the-hill Calvin Klein model who hasn’t had it up in 10 years ... If it wasn’t for those five kids, you’d say Romney could pass for a eunuch,” Flynt said.
So rather than fluffing the media with calls for leaks of cheating scandals, Flynt has taken issue with the supposedly deflated net worth of the presidential candidate.

He claims, “No working stiff who goes to a ballot box can relate to a billionaire,” and this is a man that knows quite well how to relate to the “working stiff.”

It’s hard to guess what leads might come forth, but one thing is certain.

No matter the outcome, Flynt will come out on top, and Hustler will reap the benefits of increased publicity.

Flynt owes his success to the voyeuristic culture of America.

We can’t resist a peek into the private lives of others, and Larry Flynt satisfies that need in more ways than one.
