"Probably the one I just did on the men's meet at Purdue. It was my first 500-word story. It was cool just getting that byline."

My favorite IDS memory is...
"Being able to talk to and interview coaches and athletes."

My favorite part about working at the IDS is...
"Just the fact that it's a legitimate news publication and I just kind of feel like if you're able to do well here, you're able to do well anywhere."

I would tell students hesitant about working at the IDS...
"That it's a lot easier and less intimidating than you would probably think."
