"Bailey's been easy to work with and enthusiastic since the first day I edited with her," said campus editor Sarah Brubeck. "Her stories are always well-organized, and the way she interviews and asks questions is very professional and relaxed. She's become our go-to girl on several occasions, and she's always willing to take a story. She doesn't turn in an enterprise story until she knows it's her best work. Her bubbly personality is also wonderful to have in the newsroom."

What are your interests?
“I’m on IU’s Ultimate Frisbee Team. It’s really fun. I like to write I try to read some, but I don't get in as much as I'd like."

My favorite story I've written so far...
“I guess the Dustin Diamond one. I interviewed him when he was here.”

My favorite IDS memory...
"I was doing an article on the IU Cancer Center director, and I was speaking with a bunch of people that knew him and they had a bunch of really runny stories to tell and really great things to say about him. So I thought that was a cool story to tell, just to see what people had to say about him."

My favorite part about working at the IDS...
"I like getting to meet new people and talk to new people not only by interviewing them for new stories but also on the staff."

I would tell students hesitant about working at the IDS that...
"I think it's really good experience. You get the stories you want and you get to pick when you write, so it's really flexible."
