“My favorite story was my profile on Dean Gonzalez. He just has such a great story that I felt like I was telling something really special to readers. And it was really nice to get recognized for it-- it was the story of the week and he sent me an e-mail saying I did a good job. It felt really good.”
My favorite IDS memory...
“Probably the night the I did the cover of the Brock Gill show. I came back and had to finish it in 30 minutes. . . . It was fun being there with all the editors and just feeling the energy. It taught me I could work on a deadline and do a good job.”
My favorite part about working at the IDS...
“All the people that I’ve met and all the experience I’ve gotten. I feel like I’ve learned more here than I have in the classroom.”

“It’s such a great environment. Plus, it doesn't even feel like work– I know we get paid– but it’s just so much fun it doesn’t even feel like work.”
