“Aaron was one of the first writers, in general, to get here for the fall, and he was enthusiastic from the start,” said DeAntae Prince, sports editor and men’s basketball reporter. “He got here and slept on couches to attend workshops and was the first freshman to get a full-time beat. He's continued to get better throughout the semester, and it's been really fun for Sean and I to see him progress.”

What are your interests?
“I like playing and watching sports like basketball, football and golf.”

My favorite story I’ve written so far...
“My favorite story I wrote was the ‘IU, USA team have ‘very similar’ styles of play‘ story.”

My favorite IDS memory...
“Me and Nathan Hart, the football beat writer, Sean Morrison, the sports editor, and Nick Cusack, the campus editor in a pick-up game of volleyball at the IDS picnic.”

My favorite part about working at the IDS...
“Writing for field hockey, a sport that doesn’t get much exposure in the sports world. Writing about field hockey is helping me learn more about the sport.”

I would tell students hesitant about working at the IDS that...
“To just try to work for the section you want and get involved as much as you can, so editors and managment can notice you. Also, the IDS has helped my writing skills, so it should help yours too.”
