Drew Allen
“Drew came to us in the summer and covered a couple baseball games for us. From those first stories on, I knew he'd be a valuable asset to the sports desk,” said sports editor Sean Morrison. “His coverage of volleyball has been phenomenal, and I can't wait to see how he develops in the future. Needless to say, I see big things for him at the IDS.”

What are your interests? “Sports, music, reading, writing, exercising.”
My favorite story I’ve written so far... “‘Sophomore libero digs being ‘fun-sized,’” a feature story on IU volleyball player Caitlin Cox.
My favorite IDS memory... “Hopefully it’s still to come, but so far, it’s been covering the Allstate 400 at the Brickyard for the IDS in August 2009.”
My favorite part about working at the IDS... “The opportunity to follow my passions, and the opportunity to do it in a fun way. Also, the staff is fantastic.”
I would tell students hesitant about working at the IDS that... “I was in the same boat as you. I was scared to do it for a long time. When I finally got on board with the IDS, I realized I had worried way too much and it has been one of the best things to happen to me in my collegiate career. It becomes more and more comfortable with each story.”
