DISTRICT 2\nDemocrat Elizabeth Feitl\nOccupation: President of Communications Workers of America, Local 4730, representing 1,700 workers at the Bloomington and Gary campuses of IU\nPolitical experience: Vice president of White River Central Labor Council \nThree main concerns: \n1. Continue work on Juvenile Treatment Center. \n2. Be aggressive in ending domestic violence. \n3. Create more affordable housing opportunities.\nWhat separates her from her opponent: "I'm a little concerned about my opponent's real estate profession and if it would be a conflict with all the planning and zoning decisions that have to be made."\nDISTRICT 2\nRepublican Joyce Poling\nOccupation: RE/MAX real estate agent\nPolitical experience: Served two terms as a commissioner and more than three years on county council.\nThree main concerns: \n1. Reach decision on Juvenile Treatment Center. \n2. Come to consensus on what to do about a Community Correction Center for non-violent offenders. \n3. Work toward higher paying jobs.\nWhat separates her from her opponent: "My years of experience in county government. It's a little unstructured, so I feel that it's a benefit to have worked for it for so long."\nDISTRICT 3\nRepublican Franklin Andrew\nOccupation: Owner of Clear Creek Farms\nPolitical experience: Served as chairman on Monroe County Telecommunications Committee\nThree main concerns: \n1. Simplify the process on making decisions. \n2. Demonstrate leadership, avoid using so many committees. \n3. Re-evaluate attitudes toward businesses and utilizing property.\nWhat separates him from his opponent: "Not only do I have experience of running a corporation, but for the past seven or eight years, I've been farming, so I understand the needs of the rural resident. I've been on both ends and know the balance between the rural residents and the manufacturers."\nDISTRICT 3\nDemocrat Iris Kiesling\nOccupation: Volunteer/administrator in a consulting firm\nPolitical experience: Served on county council for nine years and is serving fourth year as a county commissioner.\nThree main concerns: \n1. Resolve space issues and create room for new buildings. \n2. Develop a more comprehensive planning and development system. \n3. Improve economic development.\nWhat separates her from her opponent: "I have the vast knowledge and experience of how the county government works. I knew a lot going in, but I've learned even more over the years"
