IUPD Blotter

The following crimes were reported by IUPD:\nSept. 26\n• Jennifer Todhunter, 20, a junior residing on East Third Street, reported damage to her vehicle while it was parked in the Atwater parking garage. Estimated damage is $2,000.\n• An employee reported damage to the drop ceiling in the basement of Assembly Hall. The damage was caused by a vehicle attempting to turn around. Estimated damage is more than $100.\n• Nine vehicles were found to have been broken into sometime overnight. Seven of the vehicles were broken into in the Blue Lot and two were broken into in the Atwater parking garage. Estimated theft and damage is $6,800.\n• Lisa Hurwitz, a sophomore residing on North Jordan Avenue, reported vandalism to her vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Jordan Avenue. Estimated damage is $300.\nSept. 27\n• Jaclyn M. Fredericks, 20, a junior residing in Unionville, Ind., reported items missing from her locker at the SRSC. Estimated loss is $120.\n• A faculty member reported the theft of a scooter from the north side of the Law Building. Estimated loss is $1,800.\nSept. 28\n• Erica L. Vogel, 19, a freshman residing on South Union Street, was arrested at 10th and Union streets for illegal consumption and operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.\n• An employee at the Virgil T. DeVault Center reported that her diamond ring was missing from the second floor of that building. Estimated loss is $2,000.\n• A female student reported being sexually assaulted at Sigma Phi Epsilon.\n• Jeremy S. Kirby, a freshman, residing in Wright Quad, reported the theft of articles from his room in Wright. Estimated loss is $2,085.\n• Justin Mattix, 18, a Ball State University student residing in Muncie, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 30 grams and illegal consumption.\nSept. 29\n• Nicholas Hoagland, a senior residing on North Walnut Street, reported the theft of articles from a locker in the Indiana Memorial Union. Estimated loss is $440.\n• Bradford J. McAlear, 18, a freshman residing in Briscoe Quad, was cited at Briscoe for a misdemeanor charge of illegal possession of alcohol.\n• Scott Denisar, a senior residing in Woodbridge Apartments, reported his vehicle stolen from the Student Recreational Sports Center. The vehicle was later recovered at College Mall. Estimated loss is unknown at press time.\nSept. 30\n • James A. Brown, 45, a nonstudent, was arrested at the Main Library with public intoxication.\n• Stephanie M. Spence, 18, a freshman, was arrested at Forest Quad for illegal consumption.\n• Barry W. Magee, a graduate student residing in University East Apartments, reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked in the lot at University East Apartments. Estimated damage is $150.\n• Michele N. Wozniak, 19, a resident of Muncie, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal possession of alcohol.\n• Erika L. Martin, 19, a resident of Muncie, was arrested in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Allan S. Foy and Daniel Cho, freshmen residing in Briscoe Quad, reported money and property stolen from their room in Briscoe.\n• Michael S. Johnson, 20, a sophomore residing on East Second Street, was cited for illegal consumption in the Red Lot.\n• Mark A. Lee, 19, a sophomore residing on North Jordan Avenue, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Eric B. Leimsieder, 20, a junior residing on Covenanter Drive, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Jason T. Greeter, 20, a sophomore residing on East Third Street, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Michael R. Decola, 19, a nonstudent residing in Riverside, Ill., was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Meghann K. Brassell, 19, a sophomore residing on Hoosier Court, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Edwin K. Bryant, 20, a sophomore residing in Forest Quad, was cited at his residence for possession of marijuana less than 30 grams.\n• Lisa M. Batusic, 20, a junior residing on North Fess Avenue was cited in the Red Lot for illegal possession of an alcoholic beverage.\n• Meredith C. Adler, 19, a sophomore residing on North Jordan Avenue, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Eric Winn, 20, a junior residing on Melrose Avenue, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Scott P. Joschko, 20, a junior residing on Melrose Avenue, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Shante Southerland, 20, a freshman residing on Varsity Lane, was arrested in the Red Lot for illegal consumption and resisting law enforcement.\n• Allison L. McKay, 20, a junior residing on Varsity Lane, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Sara E. Hagberg, 20, a junior residing on Varsity Lane, was arrested in the Red Lot for pubic intoxication, illegal consumption and public indecency.\n• Nicholas D. Cookerly, 20, a junior residing at John Hinkle Place, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Andres G. Rodrigues, 19, a nonstudent residing in Puerto Rico, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Peter G. McClure, 20, a sophomore residing on Parkridge Drive, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Patrick J. Ray, 21, a junior residing on East 14th Street, was arrested at his residence for furnishing alcohol to minors and for public intoxication.\n• Kristopher Geist, 21, a sophomore residing on East 14th Street, was arrested for furnishing alcohol to minors and for public intoxication at his residence.\n• Ashley N. Hawn, 20, a junior residing on Clarizz Boulevard, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Leslie C. Silverstein, 18, a freshman residing in Foster Quad, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• A 17-year-old female residing in Glen Ellyn, Ill., was referred to probation for illegal consumption and released to a parent.\n• Daniel W. Mesch, 18, a nonstudent residing in Glen Ellyn, Ill., was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Nathaniel Olk, 19, a freshman residing in Briscoe Quad, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Rebecca E. Moll, 19, a nonstudent residing in Fort Wayne, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Michael S. Lindenmuth, 19, a nonstudent from Geneva, Ill., was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Robert A. Stephen, 18, a freshman residing in Foster, was cited in the Red Lot for illegal consumption.\nOCT. 1\n• An employee at the Virgil T. DeVault Center reported that her diamond ring was missing from the second floor of that building. Estimated loss is $2,000.\n• A female student reported being sexually assaulted at a fraternity house.\n• Jeremy S. Kirby, a freshman, residing in Wright Quad, reported the theft of articles from his room in Wright. Estimated loss is $2,085.\n• Justin Mattix, 18, a Ball State University student residing in Muncie, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 30 grams and illegal consumption.• Nathaniel R. Miller, 23, a senior residing on East 17th Street, was arrested at Sixth and Dunn Streets and charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.\n• Ronald D. Hill, 19, a sophomore residing in Willkie Quad, was issued a summons in the Willkie North Lot for illegal consumption.\n• Jon M. Schantz, 19, a sophomore residing in Willkie Quad, was arrested and charged in the Willkie North Lot with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and illegal consumption.\n• Betty Kirkham, a visitor to the Indiana Memorial Union, reported theft of personal items from a conference room at the IMU. Estimated loss is $100.\n• Joo Chul Yoon, a graduate student residing in Tulip Tree apartments, reported vandalism to his vehicle while it was parked in the Tulip Tree Lot. Estimated damage is $200.\n• Adam Gutwein, a sophomore residing on North Jordan Avenue, reported vandalism to his vehicle and theft of articles from it. Estimated loss and damage was $1,515.
