Docents and Tour Guides\nThe Monroe County Historical Society needs docents to greet visitors, furnish information and handle sales in the museum store during three-hour shifts. Guides conduct tours for schools and other groups and are called upon when needed. Light maintenance help is also needed. Minimum age is 16. Volunteers need to attend one of the training sessions from 10-11 a.m. Oct. 14 or Oct. 21. Minimum age is 15. Volunteers are asked to make a six-month commitment. Both patients and drivers must wear seatbelts and refrain from smoking during trips. Minimum age is 18. The production manager, who should be mature and have theatre training and experience, will work closely with the artistic director to plan and organize each production.
