Doesn't the news make you mad sometimes? Send it back. Ballantine Hall has new recycling bins for your IDS and using them will help save wild forests. \nMany University computer labs have the option of double-sided printing, but it is rarely used. The University could do more to encourage its use, such as advertising its availability, or setting the double-sided printing to be automatic unless you choose to have it one-sided for some reason. This would not only save money, but forests of trees as well. Ask the computer lab attendant how you can change your printer to print double-sided for now.\nEventually, as a leader in society, the University will have to decide to adopt a purchasing policy that divests from old-growth forest sourcing. Our nation is down to 4 percent of its original old-growth forests. For now, even a lazy person can save paper with just a few clicks of the mouse for double-sided printing.\nJoshua Martin\nGraduate student
