Edwards' column enlightening

Chris Edwards' column, "The wrong president," (Nov. 10) was refreshing, and encouraging to know that common sense can prevail in understanding who the next president of the United States really appears to be -- a fraud. If only everyone could have taken a closer look at problems with George W. Bush, there might have been an election even more overwhelmingly in favor of Vice President Al Gore. Instead we have the will of the people overpowered by an age old Electoral College, which does not represent the popular voice. Thus we are left with four years of a man who does not deserve to be president both on his ability and the will of the people. The people have spoken, yet it appears to not matter. \nMelissa Caplan\nSenior
