'IDS' editor selected

The IDS Publications Board picked the spring semester's editor in chief Thursday. Senior Brooke Ruivivar, who serves as managing editor, was chosen out of the three candidates that applied for the position, including election reporter Bryan Harris, a junior, and region reporter Kara Salge, also a junior.\nEach semester the IDS selects an editor in chief who chooses a new management staff and desk editors. The editor in chief oversees all departments of the paper and has final say over all the editorial and advertising content of the paper.
