The women's tennis team made quick work of its competition this weekend, routing Bowling Green and Ball State 7-0.\nIU (4-0) didn't lose a singles match, keeping its season perfect.\n"Two good things happened this weekend," coach Lin Loring said, "We improved in several areas and we were able to play all eight players."\nThe Hoosier\'s No. 1 player, senior Kelly Blanch, won both singles matches and she and freshman doubles partner Martina Grimm improved their overall record to 4-0 this season.\nAgainst in-state rival Ball State, the Hoosiers continued their dominance. In 11 tries, IU has never lost a match to the Cardinals. \nAfter losing the first set 4-6, No. 2 junior Amanda Field rebounded to win the second set 7-6. In a 10-point tiebreaker, Field dominated 10-5 to take the match. \nAgainst Bowling Green, Field had an easier time tackling her opponent 6-1, 6-1. Irina Kharun, who also shines as a javelin thrower for the women's outdoor track and field team, saw her first action of the season beating Jessica Johnson 6-4, 6-3.
