The NCAA Zone Diving Qualifications meet will be held in Counsilman Billingsley Aquatic Center today and Saturday. To qualify for the zone meet, divers must have met the minimum point total in a previous diving meet. \nThere will be five zone meets across the country this weekend, with 20 teams competing in Bloomington. The top 12 divers -- both men and women -- will advance to the NCAA Championships, which begin March 22.\nThe Hoosier men's diving squad will be led by senior Tom Davidson, who won the 1-meter diving title at the Big Ten Championships Feb. 22-24 at Minnesota. Sophomore Adam Hazes, freshman Marc Carlton, sophomore Eric Robson and freshman Alex Burns will also dive for IU. Senior Erin Quinn, sophomores Jennifer Sonneborn, Jessica Williams, Mamie Goodson and Lori Matthys and freshman Cassandra Cardinell will represent the IU women's diving squad.\nCompetition starts today at 11 a.m. with the men's 1-meter dive and women's 3-meter competition. Saturday's action begins at 11 a.m. with the women's 1-meter dive and men's 3-meter competition. The final event of the meet, the men's and women's platform competition, begins at 4 p.m. Saturday.
