The IU softball team dropped both games of a doubleheader against Louisville Tuesday. The Hoosiers (10-19) lost the opener 5-4 and were shut out in the second game 5-0. With the win, the Cardinals improve their record to 22-11.\nThese teams met up March 11, at the Kentucky Tournament, with IU coming out with a 1-0 win. That Hoosier victory was the lone defeat for Louisville en route to the Kentucky Invitational championship for the Cardinals. In the contest, sophomore Heather Suca scored the winning run as a bases-loaded grounder by sophomore Lisa Mattke hit to the pitcher, who threw the ball home; but the catcher failed to touch the plate for the winning run to cross the plate.\nDetails concerning Tuesday's game were unavailable at press time.
