The IU women's soccer team opened its spring schedule Saturday with a 2-0 win against St. Louis. \nIU got on the board in the first half when the Hoosiers played a deep ball in the Biliken zone where IU freshman Kim Sturm one-timed a ball past the SLU keeper. Freshman Shelly Gruszka added the assist.\nThe Hoosiers notched their second goal in the second half when freshman Emily Hotz, who started every game and was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team during the regular season, scored.\n"I thought we did alright," coach Joe Kelley said. "For the first time outside and with a number of new players, there were some very positive things. I thought defensively we were pretty well organized and that's what I was really concerned about"
