Assistant wrestling coach Charles Burton finished second at the U.S. National Championships Saturday. Other members of the Hoosiers' coaching staff, Pat Cassidy and Mike Mena, finished fifth and sixth, respectively. \nAt 187.25 pounds, Burton, a member of the 2000 Olympic team, dropped a 4-1 decision to the top wrestler on the college circuit, Cale Sanderson. Sanderson has won three consecutive NCAA titles and will look to become only the second history to win four in 2001.\nA former Hoosier grappler and Bloomington native, Cassidy was seeded seventh at 119 pounds. He made his way to the quarterfinals before losing a 10-0 decision to Sean Kim. The two were scheduled to meet again in the fifth-place match, but Kim forfeited because of injury, giving Cassidy fifth-place honors.\nMena made his international debut at 127.25 pounds and won his first three matches before dropping a 5-3 decision to eventual champion Eric Guerrero.
