The hockey team will face the University of Kentucky in a home-and-home series this weekend, beginning at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Frank Southern Center, 1965 S. Henderson St. The second game will be played at midnight Saturday in Kentucky's Lexington Ice Center. \nThe Hoosiers are coming off last week's season-opening sweep of Central Michigan University, in which they beat the Chippewas by a combined score of 13-3. Last season, the Hoosiers crushed Kentucky in their two-game series by scores of 11-5 and 7-1. \nThe Wildcats (3-2-1) are coming off consecutive losses to West Virginia. They are led in scoring by forward Justin Smither, who has four goals and three assists in six games.
