Woessner's time in the 100 placed her third all-time among Hoosiers swimmers in the event and her 200 time was the fourth best in school history.\nHead coach Dorsey Tierney was pleased with Woessner's contributions and has high expectations for her senior leader.\n\"Susan swam well today," Tierney said in a press release. "She has performed well so far this season and we just expect her season to get better."\nFreshman Erin Smith posted a victory in the 100-yard freestyle and finished second in the 200-free. "She really stepped up and gave us a key performance. She gave us a great performance last week by winning the 50-free, but in that time she has gotten better. It is great to see."\nAt the Big Ten Relays on Sunday the Hoosiers brought home third place in the five team competition. IU finished the day with 158 points, just 18 behind second place Illinois. Northwestern won the 11-event meet with a total of 202 points.
