The woman's field hockey and soccer teams announced their new recruits Wednesday. All recruits will join the team in the fall. \nThe women's soccer team signed four players. The class contained one in-state recruit, midfielder Robin Barker, from Brownsburg, Ind., and three out-of-state athletes -- defender Ryan Hanley, from St. Louis, Mo.; midfielder Danielle Patton, from Cincinnati, Ohio; and forward Kristen Zmijewski, from Aurora, Ill. \nBarker is a two-time all state selection and was named Indianapolis Star's Metro West player of the year. \n"I am really excited about the chance to play at IU," Barker said in a press release. "They have quality players who will push me every time out. The coaches and girls were so nice, and I can't wait to play there."\nThe field hockey also received four letters of intent to add to the one it already received. All of the new Hoosiers come from out-of-state -- Morgan Albini, from Escondido, Calif.; Nikki Orciuch, from West Falmouth, Mass.; Mallory Reabold, from Lehighton, Pa.; and Amelia Quane, from Oak Park, Ill. These four are joined by Californian Lesley Wiler.
