The IU men's tennis team (5-3) lost 4-3 at No. 28 Middle Tennessee State Sunday. Freshman Jakub Praibis (7-1 spring) was victorious 3-6, 6-4, 6-1 and freshman Tom Bagnato (5-1 spring) won 5-7, 7-6 (6), 6-3. \nFreshman Ryan Recht also won in straight sets. Senior Milan Rakvica (6-2 spring) was defeated at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-1 by the Blue Raiders\' (5-0) Daniel Klemetz.\nSenior Rahman Smiley (3-2 spring), who has had back problems all season, lost 7-6 (5), 6-3 at No. 2. \nThe Hoosiers also lost the doubles point. Smiley and Recht lost 9-7 at No. 1. \nIn off-the-court news, junior Zach Held has decided to take a leave of absence because of personal reasons. It is for an undisclosed period of time. \nCoach Ken Hydinger said he wants everyone to know that this has nothing to do with discipline-related problems or anything of that sort.\n\"Zach needs this time away from the team,\" Hydinger said. \"He is the type of person that would stay and help the team, but the team agrees with and applauds Zach for taking this time.\" \nHeld is 3-3 in singles and 3-4 in doubles this spring.\nThe Hoosiers next match is against Evansville on Saturday Feb. 23 at 9 a.m. at the Indiana Tennis Center.
