Divers qualify for nationals\nJunior diver Jennifer Sonneborn qualified for the U.S. National Outdoor Diving Championships on the 3-meter springboard Saturday at the U.S. Geographic Zone B Outdoor Diving Championships at the Indiana University Outdoor Pool.\nSonneborn finished the 3-meter competition in sixth with a score of 391.85. The top five qualify, but if one of the top five has already pre-qualified then the sixth spot gets the nod. Sonneborn already qualified for the 1-meter competition Friday.\nSonneborn joins teammates junior Sara Reiling and senior Erin Quinn in the same event at nationals. Quinn and Reiling pre-qualified for the 3-meter event at the U.S. Indoor Nationals in April.\nFrom the men's team, freshman Marc Carlton finished third with a score of 499.40 to make the nationals squad on the men's side. \n"Our divers had a pretty good day," IU diving coach Dr. Jeff Huber said in a press release.\nFormer tennis player on 'Millionaire'\nFormer women's tennis players Becky Wallihan is to appear on ABC's "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" Tuesday, July 17th at 8 p.m.\nWallihan was a member of the IU tennis team from 1996-99, posting a career singles mark of 36-19 overall, 9-4 in the Big Ten. In doubles she was 47-30 overall, 16-11 in the Big Ten. She was named to the Academic All-Big Ten team for three straight seasons with majors in biochemistry and physics.\nWallihan was also a Wells Scholar at Indiana and currently resides in Indianapolis where she attends medical school at IUPUI.\nCrew meeting set for August\nIndiana Rowing is having and information meeting Friday, August 24, 2001 at 7:00 pm in the Kelley School of Business room 219.
