Hannah House helps mothers with difficult choices

\nCyntaya rests on her adoptive mother's shoulder while 17-year-old Brandy hands over some of her most precious items to the new family. While sadness surrounds the Hannah House, Brandy rests assured that she has done the right thing and that the new parents are an answer to her prayers.\n\nBrandy hugs the adoptive mother while Tina kisses Brandy's baby Cyntaya goodbye.\n\nTina Lampke-Tuley, director of the Crisis Pregnancy Center and Hannah House maternity home, consoles Bloomington resident Brandy Johnson through many tears, reminding Brandy that she did the right thing in giving her child up to adoption. "You're the strongest woman I know," she said. The Hannah House, built on Christian principles, offers not only a place to live, but comfort and prayers as well.\n\nBrandy embraces Cyntaya's foot for the last time before saying goodbye to her three-month old baby girl.\nPhotos by Christi Meeks
