IU basketball forward Jared Jeffries will announce his decision on whether he will go pro today at Assembly Hall. ESPN.com reported Sunday that Jeffries is going to announce his decision to turn pro. The Web site reported a source close to Dick Vitale said Jeffries' intention was to enter the NBA Draft.\nPrior to last Wednesday's press conference, Jeffries confirmed he would announce his decision today but said only that he was going to talk with his family and trusted friends before deciding one way or another.\nJeffries won the Big Ten Player of the Year honor and averaged 15 points per game but was up-and-down following an ankle sprain. In the championship game, Jeffries had just eight points against Maryland after scoring 24 against Duke.
