IU's Demar one of Big Ten athletes to play all-star game

IU senior offensive lineman Enoch DeMar will play in the 2003 Hula Bowl Maui All-Star Football Classic on Feb. 1 in Wailuku, Hawaii.\nDeMar is one of 12 Big Ten athletes in the all-star game that will be played at War Memorial Stadium, including Ohio State wide receiver Chris Vance, Illinois running back Antoineo Harris and Minnesota cornerback Michael Lehan and kicker Dan Nystrom.\nDemar will compete for the defending champion Aina (Land) squad.\nDemar was a second team All-Big Ten honoree by the coaches and media in 2001 and was an honorable mention selection in 2000. The senior was an honorable mention selection by the conference media this season.\nDemar, a telecommunications major, earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He started every game during his four-year career.\nThe Hula Bowl will be broadcast live on ESPN2, at 9 p.m. on Feb. 1.
