Women's track takes first \nThe women's track and field team finished first in a three-team meet against Purdue and Ohio State in West Lafayette on Saturday. The squad finished with the top four positions in the 60-meter dash, led by senior Rachelle Boone followed by senior Danielle Carruthers and sophomores Ara Towns and Karla Marshall. Boone had another first place finish in the 200-meter dash, with Towns and Marshall coming in second and third. Carruthers also contributed a first place finish in the 60-meter hurdles. \nOther first-place finishes for the Hoosiers came from junior Lauren Chesnut in the triple jump, freshman Lindsay Hattendorf in the 3000 meter run, junior Jennifer Cobbina in long jump and junior Chioma Ndubisi in the 400 meter run.\nHockey splits games at tournament\nThe IU hockey team got a shot at the No. 1 team in the country but couldn't contain Penn State's high octane offense. The Hoosiers split a pair of weekend games against two Division I opponents in the Nittany Lion Invitational.\nIU beat No. 16 Washington and Jefferson Friday 3-2. The win set up a rematch of last year's Big Ten Thanksgiving tournament championship game, in which IU beat then No. 1 and eventual D-I national champion PSU.\nPenn State's Glenn Zuck got revenge for the Lions Saturday. Zuck scored just over two minutes into the game and again at the ten-minute mark of the first. Senior defenseman Joe Rogers answered for the Hoosiers with two minutes remaining in the first, but IU gave up one more before the end of the period to head into the second with a 3-1 deficit.\nZuck struck again less than a minute into the second and the Lions rolled, scoring three more times to close the second with a 7-1 lead. Junior defenseman David Standa netted his second goal of the season 20 seconds into the third, but IU couldn't mount a rally, losing 9-2. \nZuck, finished the game with three goals and three assists.\nIU will play one road game each against Ferris State and Michigan State next weekend before returning for a home series to end regular season.\nRaptor's win in Carter's return\nTORONTO -- Vince Carter returned and the Toronto Raptors won.\nCarter, playing for the first time since Dec. 10, scored 22 points to lead the Raptors to a 101-97 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, snapping their five-game losing streak.
