The men's basketball team's non-conference schedule next season includes a home game against Butler and a game at Notre Dame.\nThe Hoosiers will visit the Irish on Dec. 9, renewing their annual rivalry after a one-year break. On Dec. 13, Butler will return to Assembly Hall for the Bulldogs' first game against IU since they beat the Hoosiers in the championship game of the 2001 Hoosier Classic.\nOther non-conference home games, however, include the season-opener against North Carolina-Greensboro on Nov. 21, Morehead State on Dec. 23 and Temple on Jan. 3. IU will play two games in Indianapolis, facing Xavier in the Wooden Tradition at Conseco Fieldhouse on Nov. 29 and Kentucky in the RCA Dome on Dec. 20.\nThe Hoosiers have two other non-conference road games at Vanderbilt on Nov. 24 or Nov. 25 and North Texas on Dec. 29.\nAssistant Media Relations Director Pete Rhoda said the complete schedule will be announced when the rest of the Big Ten and the television schedules are finalized in late summer. Rhoda, however, confirmed that the non-conference dates are correct. \nThe team also announced Wednesday a 15-city "farewell" schedule for IU's three seniors -- Tom Coverdale, Kyle Hornsby and Jeff Newton. Former Hoosier Damon Bailey and former Indiana All-Stars Brad Borgman and Joey Ray will also be competing. \nThe tour begins April 14 in Coverdale's hometown, Noblesville, Ind., and continues through May 4 with games in New Palestine and South Ripley. The schedule also includes an April 24 game at Bloomington South High School.
