After splitting last weekend's double-header against two top-rated Big Ten teams, it's easy to see why the Hoosiers are anxious to play a few weaker teams this weekend.\nFriday night, the women's soccer team team travels to Iowa City to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes (3-6, 0-3-1 Big Ten). Sunday, the team returns home for a match against Marshall, (1-9-1,1-5-0 MAC).\nThe Hoosiers hope to parlay the momentum they gained in their victory last week over previously 11th-ranked Ohio State into success this weekend. Freshman Lauren Dieter said the team isn't changing its game plan drastically for the upcoming contests. "Since [Iowa and Marshall] have struggling offenses, we'll probably move our defenders forward," Dieter said. "Other than that, we haven't really made any adjustments."\nCoach Mick Lyon said despite the opposing teams' records, the Hoosiers are anticipating two tough games.\n"Iowa is going to be a real tough battle," Lyon said. "With Iowa, I think it's a case that when we get in there, we really have to put pressure on them. Marshall is not having the greatest year, but nobody lies down anymore. No team is an easy game."\nIowa is currently on a three-game losing streak in which the team has managed just one goal. The Hawkeyes' last win came on Sept. 13, when they beat Brigham Young in overtime. Lyon said he hopes to take advantage of Iowa's struggling offense.\n"We've done well defensively this year," Lyon said. "I don't see us giving up any goals this weekend. Our focus for the weekend is to have two shutouts."\nSenior Shelly Gruszka said she believes the Hoosiers have finally found a winning formula.\n"I think we really found something last weekend," Gruszka said. "I think we found the right formation and the right people clicked. I think we're just moving forward from that, taking what we learned last weekend and going forward this weekend. Hopefully we get some wins."\nMarshall enters the weekend having scored only six goals all season. Its only win this season was a 3-0 victory over conference rival Northern Illinois. Lyon said the team will use its speed to its advantage.\n"Against Marshall, I hope that we can play fast enough that we put them under a lot of pressure," Lyon said. "I certainly hope that the speed of our play and the quickness of our players will definitely cause them problems."\n-- Contact staff writer Cory Steger at csteger@indiana.edu.
