IU sophomore forward Sean Kline underwent knee surgery Monday to repair the damage he suffered Feb. 14 at Purdue. The Huntington, Ind., native averaged 7.1 points per game and four rebounds in 22 games of action.\nIt was announced Feb. 16 Kline would miss the rest of the season due to the knee injury and the required surgery.\nIU orthopedic surgeon Dr. Steve Ahlfeld, a former IU player, is hopeful Kline will return to the court next season.\n"We have missed Sean's presence in the last two games, and we'll miss him the rest of the season," IU coach Mike Davis said in a statement. "But he has a great attitude about things, and we look forward to getting him back next year."\nIU (12-12, 6-7 Big Ten) has lost their last two games in Kline's absence by a combined five points. The Hoosiers will be in action at 9 p.m. Wednesday when they travel to Evanston, Ill. and match-up with the Northwestern Wildcats.
