Former IU-Bloomington Chancellor Sharon Brehm is one of the finalists for the provost position at the University of Connecticut, according to an article in The Hartford Courant.\nThe other finalist for the position is Peter J. Nicholls, provost and academic vice president at Colorado State University for the past two years.\nBrehm visited the campus earlier this week to meet with faculty and department heads.\nShe could not be reached for comment as of press time.\nBrehm served as IU chancellor from July 2001 until December 2003 when she resigned as part of President Adam Herbert's plan to restructure the University. She currently serves as senior adviser to Herbert.\nFormer Chancellor Ken Gros Louis currently serves as Interim Chancellor.
