For more information, call 323-3020. \nBloomington Area Arts Council \npresents 'Arcadia'\nCourtney Giddings and the Bloomington Area Arts Council will present the drama "Arcadia" written by playwright Tom Stoppard, co-author of the Academy Award-winning screenplay of "Shakespeare in Love" and author of many well-known plays such as "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead." The play juxtaposes a brilliant 13-year-old girl in 1809 accompanied by her philandering tutor and her unassailable mother with a modern-day historical treasure hunt led by mathematicians and literary scholars in the same room of the same house.\n"Arcadia" takes the stage at 8 p.m. April 22-23, 28-30 and at 2 p.m. April 24 in the John Waldron Arts Center Auditorium, 122 S. He will be accompanied by his sons, Amaan Ali Bangash and Ayaan Ali Bangash, both on sarod, and Vineet Vyas on tabla. For more information call 855-5798\nPolish Studies Center presents reading from Piotr Sommer, 'Continued'\nPiotr Sommer will present a poetry reading at 6 p.m. tonight at the Lilly Library Lounge. The reading will feature works from his latest collection titled "Continued." He has been described as the great poet of "everyday loneliness." Sommer uses language and a deadpan manner to examine irony and subtle "intermeanings." A reception and book signing will follow the reading. The Lilly Library is located at 1200 E.
