The men's track team barely escaped the 2nd annual Indiana Relays, held at IU's home track, with a three point win over Army, 153-150.\nThe meet offered athletes solid competition in their hunt for regional qualifying marks. IU will host one of the NCAA Regional meets the last weekend in May.\nAs usual, senior All-American Aarik Wilson led the Hoosier charge, winning the triple jump with a regional qualifying mark of 16.26 meters. \nJunior Ryan Ketchum did some serious damage in the throwing events, taking second in the shot put in 17.64 meters and winning the discus with a toss of 58.52 meters, both regional qualifying marks. His discus throw ranks third in the mid-east region and second in the IU record books.\nSenior decathlete Jake Wiseman also notched a regional qualifier in winning the javelin with a heave of 63.07 meters.\nLeading five Hoosiers in a dominating performance, sophomore All-American David Neville won the 200-meters with a regional-qualifying mark of 20.98 seconds. \nFreshman Brian Sullivan, a high school All-American, debuted in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a second place finish at 9:18.75.\nIU travels next weekend to Eugene, Oregon for the Pepsi Invitational, where they will compete against Oregon, Missouri and Washington.
