Bracey Wright will enter the NBA draft rather than return to IU for his senior year, coach Mike Davis announced Wednesday. \n"I am excited about the possibility of playing in the NBA and it has always been a dream of mine," Wright said in a statement. "I want to thank Coach Davis and all of the assistant coaches for the things they have taught me. I also want to thank my teammates for being there for me throughout my career."\nWright said he will finish his schoolwork before signing with an agent. After that, he said he will focus on making the shift to the NBA.\nWright said in a press release that the decision wasn't an easy one. \n"This is a decision I reached after talking with a lot of people and receiving a lot of input," he said. "It was a tough decision but I have thought it out very carefully and feel it is the best move for me at this time."\nDavis said while Wright will be missed, he knows he can be a successful professional athlete.\n"I think this is a great opportunity for Bracey and we all wish him the best," he said. "Bracey has a lot of talent and will be a terrific professional player. We are going to miss him here at Indiana, but at the same time, we are excited about the players who are here and the newcomers next season."\nWright finishes his career ranked 15th on IU's all-time scoring list. \nFor the full story, see Thursday's front page.
