The No. 19 men's cross country team competed in its final warm-up competition Saturday morning at Chicago's Loyola Lakefront Invitational. The Hoosiers again competed without senior All-Americans Sean and John Jefferson and Stephen Haas. Senior Eric Redman, IU's top finisher in its first two meets, also did not race.\nJunior Marcus Aguilar led the Hoosiers, who finished No. 32 with a career best time of 25:25. True freshman Tim McLeod followed Aguilar six seconds back in 36th place with a career best time of 25:31. Freshman Mark Fruin finished 50th with a time of 25:46, also a career best. Rounding out the scoring for IU were freshmen Brian Sullivan and Chris Honig with times of 26:00 and 26:07, respectively. \nIU is back in action Oct. 15 in Terre Haute at the Pre-NCAA Invitational for its final meet prior to the championship portion of the season.
