A unique event titled "Finding Resonance: Sounds and Chronicles From the World We Walk In" will take place at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the John Waldron Arts Center located at 122 S. Walnut St. Produced by IU senior Zak Rosen, the evening will feature sound collages, audio documentaries and other sound compilations.\nThe event is free and open to the public. Audience members are encouraged to bring pillows and blankets to sit on the floor for an intimate setting. The sound collages will include everything from the sounds of irrigation systems in Southeast Asia to edited talk radio and other unique sounds Rosen has collected to play at the event.\n"These are things I really love to listen to and I know they're not that accessible through mainstream media outlets," Rosen said. "I want to expose people to sounds they're not already aware of."\nIn addition to the sound compilations, Rosen has arranged for University of Michigan senior Jon London to play live music for the event.\nThis is Rosen's first event of its type open to the public.
