Wright Quad hosts lesson in 'Hip-HopOLOGY'\nWHEN: 7:30 p.m. Monday\nWHERE: Wright Residence Center\nMORE INFORMATION: The program will explore the effects of rap music and how it can facilitate social justice.

John Waldron opens its January exhibits\nWHEN: 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday\nWHERE: Rosemary Miller Gallery and Flashlight Gallery\nMORE INFORMATION: This exhibit will feature the work of Linda Meyer Wright, Daren Pitts Redman, Dixie Ferrer and Linda Cole. It will be a blend of photography, painting, mixed media, textiles and nature prints. The exhibit, whose opening reception is today, will remain in the galleries until Jan. 27.

\n'Peter and the Wolf' takes over BCT\nWHEN: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday\nWHERE: Buskirk-Chumley Theater\nMORE INFORMATION: The Pushcart Players present this childhood classic, an adaptation of the traditional Russian folktale set to music by Sergei Prokofiev. Tickets, available online at www.bloomingtonarts.info or at the Sunrise Box Office, for the show are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 and younger. A musical instruments workshop for children 5 and older will follow the performance.

Trombone faculty, students present recital\nWHEN: 7 p.m. Jan. 12\nWHERE: Auer Hall\nMORE INFORMATION: Carl Lenthe, M. Dee Stewart and his students will present their first concert of the new semester. Music composed by Pryor, Schnyder, Dorsey, Cosma, Brubeck and Tchaikovsky will be featured.
