Errek Suhr\n• 5-foot-8-inch, 156-pound guard\n• Hometown: Bloomington\n• Earned a scholarship his junior year
Most Memorable Game\nFeb. 17, 2007, vs. Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich.: Against the Wolverines, Suhr tallied 10 points on 4-for-6 shooting – including a 2-for-3 tab from beyond the arc – and dished out four assists in 26 minutes of action. He started in place of the injured Earl Calloway and kept the Hoosiers close for most of the game. Despite the game resulting in a loss, Suhr led the Hoosiers down the stretch and showed his leadership capabilities.
His Legacy\nHe’s the small, scrappy hometown kid with a heart as big as Assembly Hall. Need a charge? He’s your man. Need a spark off the bench? He’ll be there. Suhr’s the guy who won Mike Davis over so much as a walk-on that he eventually offered Suhr a scholarship. He’s the guy the fans love to cheer. He’s the personification of IU basketball.
Rod Wilmont\n• 6-foot-4-inch, 203-pound guard\n• Hometown: Miramar, Fla.\n• Redshirted his freshman year
Most Memorable Game\nWednesday, vs. Northwestern in Evanston, Ill.: Wilmont may have turned in his most memorable performance Wednesday night against Northwestern. The guard poured in a career-high 31 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the Hoosiers’ 69-65 victory. Wilmont set a school record with nine 3-pointers in the contest, forever etching his name into the IU record books. He remained fearless from beyond the arc during the game and attempted 13 3-pointers, including a wild toss at the end of the first half that banked in.
His Legacy\nThe streakiest shooter of all. But when he’s on, he is on. Rod plays with passion and emotion; we’ve all seen him cry. He feeds off the crowd, and his smile and style is infectious. He’ll run through a brick wall for this team. He is Mr. Hot Rod.
Earl Calloway\n• 6-foot-3-inch, 173-pound guard\n• Hometown: Atlanta\n• Transferred to IU in 2005 from Georgia \nPerimeter College
Most Memorable Game\nMarch 18, 2006, in Salt Lake City: In the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Calloway made his presence known. He nearly notched a triple-double with 13 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds during the Hoosiers’ loss to Gonzaga and did not commit a single turnover. Calloway helped the Hoosiers take a 12-0 advantage in fastbreak points. Although his effort wasn’t enough to get the victory, Calloway got Hoosier fans to thinking about what the guard had in store for them his senior year.
His Legacy\nHe’s silky-smooth with the ball in his hands. A little too quick for his own good at times, he’s the guy you want directing the charge on a fast break. He can drive. He can dish. If you need a 3-pointer, well, he can do that, too. Two years of Earl doesn’t quite seem like enough.
