Illinois leads IU 20-7 at halftime

IU headed to the locker room at halftime facing a 13-point deficit in its first Big Ten contest of the season.\nThe Hoosiers trail the Illini 20-7 and couldn't complete a scoring drive until only three minutes remained in the half. Their 7-point comeback lasted about a minute's worth of game time, as Illinois quarterback Isiah "Juice" Williams quickly threw his way down the field, finally hitting the Illini's Rashard Mendenhall for a 15-yard touchdown drive.\nThe Illini led 13-0 till the Hoosiers scored their lone touchdown with only a little more than three minutes left in the half. IU quarterback Kellen Lewis hit James Hardy with a 7-yard pass to the end zone and kicker Austin Starr got the Hoosiers the extra point to bring the game to 13-7.
