Protest

UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY

Martin Berger, 84, second from left, from Queens, N.Y., and Rabbi Simcha Freedman, second from right, carry signs during a protest rally near the United Nations, against the visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York on Monday. Berger, born in Hungary, said, “I am here to show there was an Auscwitz. I was there with my parents and whole family.” Freedman added, “I want to be part of a resistance to stop another holocaust.” Ahmadinejad is scheduled to address the U.N. General Assembly tomorrow.
