Jens Lekman will play an acoustic set at the Waldron

Spirit of ’68 Promotions, a Bloomington-based promotions company, announced that Swedish singer-songwriter Jens Lekman will be playing an acoustic set at 8 p.m. Oct. 23 at the John Waldron Arts Center. The show, which will seat 100 people, is in addition to Lekman’s 9 p.m. performance scheduled that same night at Jake’s Night Club and Bar. Spirit of ’68 Promotions worked with Lekman to add the show after hearing from so many fans who were unhappy he was playing at a 21-and-up venue. To appease these fans, they not only added the show, but put a stipulation on it: No one over the age of 20 will be allowed to purchase a ticket, according to a press release for the event. Tickets for the show are $10 and go on sale today at Landlocked Music, 314 S. Washington St.
