African American Arts Ensemble holds auditions for spring

Students can earn course credit through dance

The African American Choral Ensemble will be holding auditions tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. in room A219 of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center, 275 N. Jordan Avenue.\nThe choral ensemble, the IU Soul Revue and the African American Dance Company all offer course credit through the Department of African American and African Diaspora Studies, but any IU student may try out.\nThe three ensembles are part of the African American Arts Ensemble, whose goal is to promote and preserve African American culture.\nThe choral ensemble’s first performance will be at 7 p.m.on Jan. 21 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. day.
