B.B. King to perform

Legendary blues guitarist B.B. King will perform Nov. 1 at the IU Auditorium King performed at IU in 2005, which was his first performance here since 1979.

Through his career, which dates back to the 1940s, King’s guitar style has emerged as one of the world’s most identifiable. He has accepted 14 Grammys and released his latest album Aug. 26. The King of Blues, now 83 years old, will perform at 8 p.m. Tickets go on sale Sept. 5.
