Ron White tickets now available

Tickets are now available for comedian Ron White’s Oct. 3, performance at the IU Auditorium.

White has had two one-hour spots on Comedy Central, received two Grammy nominations and has several popular CDs and DVDs as well as a recent book release, according an IU Auditorium press release.

White performed with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy from January 2000 through March 2003 in the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” show. The show played for sold-out audiences in more than 90 cities and grossed more than $15 million, according to the press release.

Warner Bros. filmed the tour and “Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie” was released as a major motion picture in theaters in March 2003 and later premiered on Comedy Central as the highest-rated movie in the channel’s history, according to the press release.

Tickets for the October performance went on sale 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1, and are available at the IU Auditorium Box Office as well as all Ticketmaster locations.
