Four-time Grammy Award-winning artist Lyle Lovett will bring his eclectic sound to Bloomington for an all-acoustic concert in February.
Lovett emerged as a singer/songwriter in the 1980s as a country singer but incorporated folk and jazz into his music, taking him away from a classic country sound. Along with releasing more than a dozen albums, Lovett has also appeared in films such as “The Player.”
Indianapolis native John Hiatt – whose style combines rock ’n’ roll, country, blues and folk – will join Lovett for the concert. Hiatt released his latest album, “Same Old Man,” in May.
Lovett and Hiatt will perform at 8 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater. Buskirk-Chumley donors and sponsors can buy tickets from Oct. 27 through Nov. 1, and tickets are available to the general public at noon on Nov. 3.
Tickets are $87.50 for orchestra, $75 for front balcony and $65 for upper balcony, and they can be purchased at the Sunrise Box Office.
