Bloomington Playwrights Project’s ‘Sex/Death’

More info: As part of BPP’s Dark Alley Series, this year’s “Sex/Death” features 10 short plays discussing subjects such as homicide, infidelity and sexual fantasies. Tickets are $5.

IU Press Holiday Book Sale

More info: IU Press is selling more than 300 titles. Cash, checks and major credit cards are all accepted, but quantities are limited and all sales are final.

Boxcar Books ‘Naughty or Nice’ holiday fundraiser
When: 9 p.m. Dec. 20
Where: The Bluebird Nightclub, 216 N. Walnut St.
More info: This fundraising event features karaoke, dancing and music by local disc jockeys. The cost is $5, with $1 photo opportunities with Santa or Mrs. Claus. Attendees must be 21 or older, and all door money is donated to Boxcar Books.
